Cops rescue 5 kidnap victims in Zamfara

The Police Command in Zamfara State has rescued 5 individuals who were abducted in Niger State.

“All the victims were saved by the police tactical operatives during a substantial search and rescue operations in the forest.

“The joint cops and state government medical team is operating in synergy to ensure that the rescued victims receive proper medical treatment,” he stated.

The police spokesman added that investigators from the anti-kidnapping team were debriefing the victims prior to reuniting them with their particular households.

He quoted the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ayuba Elkanah, as expressing appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, and Gov. Bello Matawalle for their unalloyed support and support to all the security operatives, particularly the police.
