Oh No! Cops Commission Secretary, Alo Loses 10-Year-Old Son

William Alo, the Police Service Commission (PSC) Secretary, has actually lost his 10-year-old kid, Mathew Akachukwu Alo.

The child died in a domestic accident at the family house in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi.

A declaration by PSC Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani said Mathew passed away on January 9 and was buried on Saturday.

It noted that the deceased was assisting his moms and dads amuse visitors up until disaster struck in between 6pm and 5pm.

“He was involved in a domestic mishap and was up to the cold hands of death,” the spokesman revealed.

PSC Chairman, Musiliu Smith, a former Inspector-General of Police, described the way of death as devastating.

The funeral mass was led by the Catholic Bishop of Abakaliki Diocese, Most Rev. Peter Nworie Chukwu.

In attendance were ex-Ebonyi Governor, Martin Elechi and better half; former Chief Justices of Ebonyi, Aloy Nwankwo and Anselm Nwaigwe; ex-Secretaries to State Government, Boniface Chima and Hyginus Nwokwu, to name a few.

“He was so connected to me that it will take many years to get used to the truth of his permanent lack”, Alo stated.

The Federal Permanent Secretary hails from Ekwetekwe-Umuezeoka in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi.
