Two building employees were supposedly kidnapped along the Lambata-Izom road by terrorists in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State.

The incident happened at about 4pm on Monday on the highway.

DAILY POST gathered that the building employees, whose actual number could not be ascertained, it was discovered, were bound by the bandits and beaten and later abducted 2 to an unknown destination.

Drivers traveling on the roadway were forced to wait up until the terrorists completed their operations.

According to them, vehicle drivers had to remain in the very same position for about two hours and move when they knew that the coast was clear for them to continue their journey.

Efforts to get the reaction of the state Police Public Relations Officer, PRO, DSP Wasiu Abiodun stopped working as he might not be reached at the time of filing this report.
