Saraki likewise lambasted the Governor Dave Umahi-led federal government, keeping in mind that “act of injustice” is being “promoted and passed off by those in power in Ebonyi.”

A statement by his media workplace at the weekend decried the spokesperson’s arrest for “circulating false information.”

Saraki condemned the brutality by Ebube Agu, the security clothing which chose Nwoba before the intervention of the authorities.

A circumstance where a resident was unexpectedly seized, beaten to a stupor and apprehended for a number of weeks, “is an assault on democracy”, he stated.

The former Kwara State Governor revealed frustration that injustice has actually gone beyond every facet of the country.

“Mr Nwoba is a devoted member of our fantastic party, PDP, and he is paying the price of speaking truth to power.

“Without any doubt, this is another collective effort to silence the opposition and undermine democracy.
