Obi Iyiegbu widely known as Obi Cubana has broken his silence on his investigation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency( NDLEA)for alleged drug links. Cubana presented himself at the Abuja headquarters of the anti-drug company on Thursday after he got an invite from them.

The Chairman of Cubana Group was grilled over funds paid into his business’ accounts by convicted dealers from India, Malaysia and Nigeria.

Speaking on the examination for alleged drug cash, Cubana, in an Instagram cope with Daddy Freeze on Saturday, said linking him with drugs was a blow to him and made him feel so low.

He said he made a covenant with God never ever to invest or support drugs.

He revealed hope that the NDLEA after its examination will vindicate him in the eyes of the public.

Cubana stated: “In life, people need to deal with particular challenges I’m facing my own today. There was no witch hunting no one was after me

“To connect me with drugs was unfortunate. I’ve never ever felt so low. To me, anything that pertains to drugs is repulsive. It’s something I’ve made a covenant with my God that I will never support, invest in or become part of.

“The idea of that invite by NDLEA alone was sad, I was not implicated but someone that paid money to my account was connected and I think the agency in question is an accountable one and when they are done with their investigation, it will be made public

“It’s a sad thing, I don’t wish to discuss it even more,” Cubana concluded.
