Gov Bello swears-in Kigera as Nigerâ $ s new Grand Khadi Sharia Court of Appeal

Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has sworn-in Abubakar Musa Kigera, as the brand-new Grand Khadi of the state’s Sharia Court of Appeal.

Bello, who presided over the swearing-in of the Grand Khadi at the Government House, Minna, revealed confidence in the capability of Kigera to perform his tasks vigilantly.

He mentioned, “I know that you have been through unstable storms in the performance of your responsibilities and execution of justice in the state.

“I believe in my mind that we have a capable Grand Khadi.

“Allah has made it possible for you today to end up being the Grand Khadi of the state, we will continue to pray for Allah’s assistance and defense for you,’ Bello said.

He then pledged his complete support to guarantee the Grand Khadi succeeds in his tasks.

The Grand Khadi, Kigera, in his address, assured of his preparedness to build on what his predecessors had done.

He thanked the Governor, the acting Chief Judge, Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the state, Nasara Dan-Mallam and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for their assistance, including that as the Grand Khadi of the state, he will discharge his duties justly, fairly and with equity.

The Emir of Borgu, Alh. Muhammad Haliru Dantoro, in his remarks, advised Kigera to continue to do his best and maintain the good qualities in his occupation that has made him the position.
