A University of Ibadan lecturer, Dr. Wasii Ajagbe charged Nigerian youths to do away with the axiom that “education is a scam”.

The Chairman of Nigeria Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE), Oyo State, Dr Ajagbe said that the informed ones steer the affairs of humankind while the oblivious are the downtrodden in every society.

He said this while addressing students awaiting admission into higher institution in the third Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony of the NIEE held at the Alumni Centre, University of Ibadan.

Urgin moms and dads and guardians on the implication of forcing expert courses for children, Dr Ajagbe said the behavior is having a favorable result on output of the Nigerian graduates.

He said changing expert paths or core curriculum of children by parents would prevent them from providing their finest.
