We are looking for dead bodies– Katsina Police after warding off outlaws, recovering animals
Katsina Police Command states its operatives might have eliminated ratings of outlaws after a gun battle at Fadimawa Village in Kurfi LGA of Katsina State on Tuesday.
The Command said a group of officers pushed back the lawbreakers and recovered stolen animals when an attack was released on Fadimawa town.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Gambo Isah disclosed this during a press rundown at the State Police Command on Friday.
Gambo said “the terrorists who remained in large numbers during the attack rustled an undefined number of domestic animals prior to the DPO of Kurfi led a team of cops to the scene, engaged and overpowered them in a fierce weapon duel, recuperating all the taken animals.”
The Police PRO discussed that “the operational technique and gallantry displayed by the group was responsible for subduing the thugs and recovering all the taken animals.
Gambo stated, “search parties are still combing the nearby bushes with a view to apprehending the ruffians or recuperating their dead bodies while examinations are ongoing.”
