Shehu Sani reacts as court orders FG to pay Nnamdi Kanu N1 billion

Shehu Sani, socio-political activist, has responded to the Abia State High Court judgment in favour of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Sani stated that no appeal against the judgment would stand.

Justice Ben Anya the other day purchased the Federal Government to pay one billion naira settlement to Kanu over the violation of his essential human rights.

In his ruling, the judge stated Kanu’s arrest as prohibited, and bought the Federal Government to release a public apology to him.

The IPOB leader had actually filed a fundamental right suit against the Federal Government before Justice Anya.

Kanu submitted the match through his Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor on the grounds of military intrusion of his home in 2017, his rearrest and abuse in Kenya, his repatriation to Nigeria, among others.

The judge even more ruled that the government ought to pursue a political option in fixing Kanu’s trial.

Responding, Sani praised the IPOB leader for the triumph.

In a tweet, the former Kaduna Central Senator, composed: “Brother Nnamdi, congratulations for your one billion Naira triumph.
