Nigeria’ll Regret It If Anything Happens To Nnamdi Kanu– IPOB
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has cautioned against the continued solitary confinement of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Remember that Kanu is still in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.
IPOB said Nigeria will be sorry for rearresting Kanu if anything happens to him in the DSS custody.
Emma Powerful, spokesman of IPOB, provided the warning while lamenting that Kanu is placed in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day.
In a statement he signed, Powerful accused Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court of turning a blind eye to Kanu’s travails in the DSS custody.
The statement checks out partially: “We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) competently led by our indefatigable and terrific leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU, once again, dream to raise alarm over the continuous detention of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, in a holding cell at the State Security Services, DSS, head office, Abuja.
“We have actually seen that the presiding Judge managing this case, Hon. Justice Binta Nyako is an accomplice to the suffering of an innocent man who commited no criminal offense known to law in Nigeria and the world.
“Binta Nyako declined to make sure that the DSS oblige and respect the fundantmental rights of our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as extanctly supplied.
“We are viewing her and the DSS. Unfortunate takes place to our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in DSS custody, they will regret his performance from Kenya to Nigeria. Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is being kept in holding cell 23 hours every day.”
