The family of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Saturday, opened on the leadership of the group.

Kingsley Kanunta Kanu, Kanu’s bro, stated his brother or sister is “the only leader” of IPOB.

Reports had it that Kanu was gotten rid of as the Director of IPOB and changed with Sofia Chinyere Kalu.

Mrs Kalu is stated to be the group’s Financial Secretary in the UK.

According to Ezeji Chukwuma, a separatist who manages IPOB and Radio Biafra Community Interest Companies (CIC) Registry in London, UK, Kalu is the brand-new Director of IPOB worldwide.

IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, had described claims of Kanu’s removal as a gossip.

Reacting, Kanunta advised those aggrieved to discover how to deal with concerns and not develop them.

In a tweet, he wrote: “#MaziNnamdiKanu is the ONLY leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB).

“We must find out to address issues and not to create one due to the fact that we’ve lost guys in this battle, and we are still losing guys.

“A butterfly can never ever call itself a bird. Biafra is a spirit.”
