Ojima Omale: Osinbajo grieves popular shoemaker, OJ Best

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has actually grieved the passing of Ojima Omale, much better known as OJ Best.

The 28-year-old famous shoemaker died at the weekend.

Osinbajo said he was deeply saddened by the demise of the “young enterprising shoemaker and friend”.

In a declaration on Monday, the VP noted that the deceased was talented, devoted and innovative to his craft.

“I continued to be impressed by his exertions for perfection in his products.

“I and numerous members of my group, for whom he likewise made shoes, will miss him, his services and unfailing excellent humour.

“Our ideas are with his family as we pray that God will comfort them. May his memory remain blessed. Amen.”

Omale will be buried in hometown Ijessi-Igo, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State on Thursday.
