Russian ex-President and leading security authorities, Dmitry Medvedev has declared that there is no longer the requirement for diplomatic ties with nations who do not support his nation’s intrusion of Ukraine.
The security chief said his country does not “specifically require” diplomatic ties with the West anymore.
Medvedev stated this in comments on his validated page on Russian social media network, VK, where he likewise rubbished sweeping sanctions troubled Moscow over its war against Ukraine.
“It’s time to padlock the embassies and continue contacts taking a look at each other through field glasses and weapon sights,” the former President stated.
Speaking on the sanctions from various countries of the world, especially the West, the previous Russian leader stated, “The sanctions are being enforced for one basic factor– political impotence emerging from their (the West’s) failure to change Russia’s course. [They] will not change a thing.”
