Uba, the kidnappers are demanding as ransom N30 million for each of the 7 individuals kidnapped.He described that he pleaded with the abductors

when negotiating with them but they firmly insisted that each victim should be paid N30 million before they are released.According to him,”I can not afford half a million Naira let alone N30 million.

Some of the parents of other abducted persons can not pay for even N10,000.”He discussed that the ring leader abused him severally when he informed him that they can’t afford to pay what he was demanding and even threatened to kidnap him from his palace.The District Head specified that the area is under major threats of terrorists who are all over their domain.DSP Usman Abdullahi, the representative of the Taraba State Police Command, confirmed the kidnapping of 11 individuals, consisting of the child of the conventional ruler of the area.
