Alao-Akala: Osinbajo, Makinde others storm Ogbomoso for ex-Oyo governor’s burial

Prominent Nigerians amongst whom are Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday stormed Ogbomoso for the burial of a previous Governor of Oyo State, Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.

DAILY POST remembers that Alao-Akala ruled the state as Governor in between 2007 and 2011.

The former Governor who hails Ogbomoso died on 12th January 2022.

Our correspondent reports that the previous Governor who was buried on Friday was a previous police officer and had actually served as chairman of Ogbomoso North city government.

The burial was gone to by popular Nigerians amongst whom are former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani; Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare and Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti.
