Osun: NSCDC arrests 32-year-old presumed bike thief

The Osun Commandant of the NSCDC, Emmanuel Ocheja, also announced that the perpetrator, Ojo, who is a native of Ede South Local Government Area, was caught in the act of stealing the motorcycle by alert locals who informed the corps.

Verifying the arrest, Daniel Adigun, the general public Relations Officer of the command, informed DAILY POST that upon arrest, the suspect admitted that his plan was not to take the motorbike.

Adigun specified that the suspect admitted that he planned to drain pipes the fuel from the motorcycle so as to utilize it on his own, prior to luck ran out for him.

The Command spokesperson, who likewise stated that the NSCDC Commandant had given the command the authorisation to thoroughly investigate the case, added that it was prepared and committed to protecting the lives and residential or commercial property of people of Osun State.

While alerting scoundrels to stay away from the state as the corps, the command spokesperson made it known that none of them would leave the long arm of the law and they will be vigilantly prosecuted in accordance to the laws of the land.
