The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a man, Ojo Mattew, 32 for apparently taking a motorcycle in Ede, Osun State.

The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Ocheja Emmanuel revealed to newsmen on Monday that the man was apprehended at Ede, Osun State.

Ocheja who spoke through NSCDC Media Officer in the State, Atanda Olabisi stated the man who hails from Ede South Local Government of the State was captured in the act of taking the bike.

He noted that the suspect was detained with the help of the locals who alerted the Corps.

Speaking, the suspect who claimed he did not want to take the bike, revealed that he just wanted to siphon fuel from the motorcycle into his own.

Ocheja, nevertheless, licensed further examination and swore that the Corps is committed to securing the lives and residential or commercial property of citizens in the state.
