Ogun queen burnt to ashes in his vehicle

Unknown shooters on Monday assassinated the Olu of Agodo, in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Ayinde Odetola.

It was gathered that Oba Odetola was eliminated and burnt beyond recognition instantly he drove into the community around 11 am.

Oyeyemi stated the queen was burnt in his automobile after he was murdered.

According to him, the state Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, was at the scene of the event on Monday to assess the scenario.

He added that homeowners of Agodo have actually deserted the town after the incident.

“Yes, it is true. Just the Oba was killed. He was burnt in his automobile. The Commissioner of Police was there today. The location has been deserted as we speak. We are tracking the criminals and we shall bring them to book,” Oyeyemi stated.
