Kanu to challenge terrorism charges Feb 16
Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has actually approved February 16 for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to challenge the competence of the terrorism charges against him.
The Judge repaired the date after declining the request of the Federal Government to open the trial.
Kanu is asking the court to release and acquit him without standing trial in the heinous criminal activity because the charges are incurably defective and has no force of law.
He has been returned to the detention center of the Department of State Services (DSS) till the problem of his request for bail is dealt with.
