File image According to a report by SaharaReporters, scores of homeowners of Damari community in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have actually left their homes after lots of terrorists riding on motorbikes invaded the neighborhood on Sunday early morning.

The armed men were stated to be in pursuit of members of a group loyal to a well-known warlord, Malam Abba, Daily Trust reports.

According to the report, Abba in 2020 was validated to be a member of the terrorist group, Boko Haram by the Kaduna State Police Command.

A resident, who already got away the location, Ibrahim Hassan, recounted that the bandits stormed the location around 10:00 am on Sunday, adding that numerous started to leave on hearing sounds of gunshots.

There was a fatal clash on Friday between outlaws and the lieutenants of Abba in which numerous terrorists were eliminated.

A source from the community said it was believed that the outlaws, who attacked Damari, were on a revenge objective and deliberately attacked Damari since the town was under the defense of Abba.

Some weeks ago, outlaws abducted scores of tourists along Kaduna– Birnin Gwari Highway after assaulting their convoy.

The outlaws attacked cars numbering about 20 which were led by a cops escort.
