2023: We should get it right– Varsity Don, Ogi encourages Benue youths

In a chat with DAILY POST, the 35-year-old scholastic urged the Nigerian youths to avoid violence in the name of supporting their preferred political leaders.

He stated the 2023 elections will not be as normal, cautioning that Nigerians require to put tribal, religious and other differences aside to make sure better governance in the next political era.

“Any married politician that has children that are grown up and we do not see their children posting about the aspiration of their parents just forget it. 2023 is no video game, as normal, we should get it right.

“The problem has never been the political workplaces offered or the residents. A majority of the issue begins with us believing that every rich person is a good leader and every educated individual is a technocrat who can manage federal government.

“The other part is when we think that as soon as a person from a majority people is in position then things will work. Up until we look beyond people, party, wealth, connections to capability we are not near starting our motion out of the dark age”.
