SaMBA attracted the conscience of members of the security agencies to fish out the killer-herdsmen in Southern Gombe.
The declaration reads: “Our attention has been drawn to the killings in Southern Gombe by thought Fulani ranchers these past 3 weeks and the deafening silence from the Executive Governor of the state, Inuwa Yahaya.
“As the guv is aware, these attacks occurred just one week after an Intelligence Report by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence (NSDC) was dripped to the public, that Fulani ranchers had a secret meeting within Yamaltu terrain in Yamaltu -Deba Local Area and shared kolanut amongst themselves in preparation for the attack on the abovementioned locations in Billiri Local Government Area.
“Following this leak, Samuel Wabulari, the Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, quickly rejected the viral memo which recommended that Fulani herders had prepared to release an attack on Billiri Local Government Area.
” It is of serious concern that few days after that memo was leaked to the public, attacks were performed in Tal, Banganje and Kalmai Districts, Billiri LGA, Southern Gombe State by presumed Fulani ranchers.

The Governor ought to be contacted us to order; his attitude is not in sync with the conduct anticipated of anybody inhabiting the highest workplace of Gombe State.
“Billiri LGA has actually been assaulted six times in one month (on the 6th, 11th 12th, 17th and 29th of December 2021 and on the 9th of January 2022)
“There is no doubt that the Governor has actually stopped working in his constitutional tasks to secure innocent lives and homes of the Gombe people. He is making the situation worse by stopping working to condole with the household of the victims and individuals of Gombe State, the least expected of the occupier of the greatest workplace in the State. The Governor’s omission is an act of neglect and dereliction of responsibility.
“The Inuwa Yahaya led government needs to perform its primary task of securing the lives and residential or commercial properties of individuals of Gombe. He should likewise provide immediate relief to the affected communities.
“SaMBA hereby requires that the Governor and Nigeria security companies fish out the wrongdoers of these crimes against mankind. The Security Agencies need to take immediate and definitive actions, to examine and apprehend the killers. The terrorists need to be made to bear the full force of the law, otherwise, the affected communities and other potential victims will resolve to self-defence.”
