Champions League: Ancelotti names two players that helped Real Madrid defeat PSG 3-1
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has identified Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo as the 2 players that assisted his team defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night in Spain.
Ancelotti said Camavinga and Rodrygo gave Real Madrid fresh legs when they began during the match, including that it helped the LaLiga giants press on against PSG.
Karim Benzema’s hat-trick guaranteed Real Madrid defeated PSG at the Santiago Bernabeu and qualified for the quarter-final on a 3-2 aggregate win.
Kylian Mbappe did score a goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s men throughout the encounter.
Speaking at a post-match conference, Ancelotti stated: “After scoring the very first objective, it totally changed everything and the fans helped us get over the line.
“Rodrygo and Camavinga was available in, gave us fresh legs which helped us push on.”
