Would you encourage your child to play for Ghana– Southampton star rejects Black Stars

Southampton protector, Mohammed Salisu has declined an opportunity to play his worldwide football with Ghana.

He refused a possible call-up to Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of the expected 2022 World Cup playoff matches with West African competitors Nigeria in March.

Salisu, who was born to Ghanaian parents in Ghana, mentioned an injury the first time he was called up by the Ghana Football Association, GFA, throughout the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

And now, Alhaji Grusah, a Ghanaian football administrator, said the Southampton star has actually warned him to keep away from his matter.

Grusah told Atinka FM that “The Black Stars Chairman charged me to speak to Salisu since he’s from Kumasi. I called his papa and he connected me to him.

“Salisu flatly informed me to stay away from his matter. He questioned me that if he was my kid, would I recommend him to bet Ghana?”

He swore never ever to call the gamer on this matter once again, including that he does not know what issue the 22-year-old has with the Ghana FA.

Grusah said he understands that the GFA had actually used other means to give the player to play for his fatherland but he seems not to be interested to represent the West African giants.

Ghana crashed out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in the group stage and their next game is a World Cup qualifying playoff against Nigeria.
