Thirteen suspected illegal bunkerers have been supposedly detained by security operatives in Bayelsa and Delta states.

The security operatives likewise recovered 3 pumping makers and a pipe from the suspects simply as they ruined some unlawfully improved items at the scene.

Two leaders of the illegal refinery, merely determined as Inimo Matthew and Suoyo, are said to be on the run.

The suspects were detained during a raid at Ikienghenbiri Community and parts of Obotebe in Bayelsa and Delta by a combined group of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Marine Police, soldiers and some officials of the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC.

It was discovered that two other suspects are in the custody of the Bayelsa Command of the NSCDC, including other seized bunkering products.
