The All Progressives Congress, APC, Enugu State Chapter, has stated it is participating in tomorrow, Wednesday’s city government election in the State.

A factional chairman of the celebration, Barr. Ugo Agballah had actually declared that the celebration was omitted from the election.

But in a declaration by Comrade Adolphus Ude-led APC, he said the celebration was taking part in the exercise.

Ude advised members of the public to ignore Agballah as he was not speaking for the celebration.

“I want to inform members of the general public that the ENSIEC dully cleared APC candidates to participate in the election and we are taking part in the workout.

“We have stated it that we are objecting to in this election, both chairmanship and councillorship positions.

“Ugo Agballah is not a member of the APC and as such can never ever promote the celebration. Any statement from him must never be taken to have actually come from the APC.

“Having said this, I urge members of our party to come all out tomorrow and choose our candidates,” he stated.
