Osun APC primary: Oyetola extends olive branch, preaches peace

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has explained his success at the Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial main election as a statement of resolve from the celebration members to continue to redefine governance and re-entrench sustainable democracy.

In an approval speech he provided after his emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the 2022 Osun gubernatorial election on Sunday, February 20, 2022, Oyetola noted that the choice has made the celebration a beacon of democracy and an unified channel of advancement

The guv, while describing the result of the primary election as a success for members of the party, included that it was an affirmation of their self-confidence in the development program and proof of their belief in sustainable development which was brought into governance.

The guv challenged all celebration members to rededicate themselves to the party and in delivering a frustrating success at the gubernatorial polls which will hold Saturday, July 16, 2022.

In his words, “With this main election now concluded, I invite all of us to rededicate ourselves and the celebration to deliver a frustrating success at the gubernatorial polls held on Saturday, 16th July 2022.

“For me, we are all winners. I, therefore, extend my hand of fellowship to the other two aspirants to join me as we prepare for the July election. We are all brothers. Let’s sign up with hands to develop the Osun of our dream.”

The APC gubernatorial prospect who asked all aggrieved members to have a rethink and sign up with hands with him to strengthen the celebration likewise told the APC members to eschew and close ranks bitterness to provide outstanding results at the gubernatorial poll.

“As we begin the electioneering campaigns, I urge all contestants across celebration lines to perform this workout with the utmost decency and not endanger the peace and serenity our State is noted for.

“This is the least our individuals should have and the appeal democracy needs,” he concluded.
