APC guber primary: Osun tranquil, anticipated violence didn’t come true– Oyetola

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has applauded celebration members for exemplifying the serene behavior the state is known for.

He said this at Boripe Ward 1, St Peter’s Primary School, Olotin, Iragbiji.

Interesting people across the state to maintain peace and etiquette as elections should not be a battle, he said that Osun being the most tranquil state in the country, the insinuations of violence making the rounds were simple speculations.

“I want to interest all our individuals across the State to keep peace. Election procedure need to not be a battlefield or a do-or-die affair. Let everybody exercise his/her option in identifying who represents them at the Party level and eventually at the basic elections.

“So far so great, I think this process has gone well contrary to the speculation of violence. We have been in contact with a variety of places and we have received positive signals of peace.

“Really, I do not see why picking a prospect to represent the Party must bring violence,” he stated.

Oyetola also expressed self-confidence that he will emerge triumphant in the primary election.

This is as he included that losing was not an option for a man commissioned by God for a project.
