Former Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, has called the 5 greatest defenders that he dealt with during his career.

Aguero has been contemplating his playing days, having been pushed into early retirement this season due to health reasons.

It followed the 33-year-old suffered a heart scare while playing for Barcelona in October.

During his profession, he also included for Atletico Madrid.

Aguero was holding a questions and answers session on Twitter, when he responded to a question asking who his 5 hardest defensive challengers remained in his profession.

He named three Premier League stars– John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Virgil van Dijk– along with 2 LaLiga legends: Carles Puyol and Sergio Ramos.

Aguero dealt with Puyol and Ramos throughout his stint at Atleti prior to his switch to the Premier League.

His choices are possibly unsurprising, with previous Chelsea captain Terry, Liverpool defensive colossus van Dijk and Manchester United legend Ferdinand all renowned as being amongst the very best in the position.
