Valentine’s Day: Any love that doesn’t include giving is phony– Pastor Ibiyeomie
The founder of Salvation Ministry, David Ibiyeomie, has stated that those professing love to others without backing it with giving of money and other prized possessions are not authentic enthusiasts.
Speaking during a programme arranged by the church to mark the 2022 Valentine’s Day, the clergy believed that all authentic enjoys including providing and sacrifices.
Relating his claim to offering and tithes in the church, Pastor Ibiyeomie argued that those who struggle to offer money to the church, do not love God.
The prominent clergy who claimed that he is a chronic fan and provider, exposed that he spent over N400 billion on charity in 2021, stressing that 80 per cent of his income opts for charity.
He said, “Any love that does not include providing is phony. If anybody ever informed you “I enjoy you” and can not offer you something, cancel that love. It is not a real love. The very best way to prove love is giving.
“If someone says I like you but has a hard time to provide you something, not only money however his or her time, it is a sign that the individual does not like you. Someone who can not go additional miles with you, does not enjoy you.
“Every love has actually offering involved. Anyone who struggles to provide God money does not live him. Everyone why slam men of God for preaching giving is stingy.
“I invested over N400b on charity las year from my own money not church account to train people I don’t know. I spend 80% of my money I’m giving”.
