Presidency: Atiku reveals how he, Alex Ekwueme ‘created’ zoning

Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential prospect, Atiku Abubakar has actually revealed how he and late Alex Ekwueme “created” zoning into the celebration’s affairs.

Atiku divulged that he created zoning throughout a discussion with Ekwueme, and they proceeded to implement it.

The previous Vice President disclosed this during his interaction with the Let’s Fix Nigeria with Atiku group in his Abuja house.

Resolving the group, Atiku recalled how he “bought the idea of zoning in the PDP during a conversation with a previous Vice President, the late Dr. Alex Ekwueme.”

He assured that he would adopt steps that would merge and stabilize Nigeria if elected.

“But then, as a multi-religious and multi-ethnic nation, we felt that there need to be a sense of belonging. We created this zoning and went.

“Therefore, we went even more to say there must be zonal representation. Let me assure you that as far as I am concerned, I will observe and execute whatever will bring about the peace and stability of this country,” he added.

Atiku is yet to state his intention to run for the presidency in 2023.

The Waziri of Adamawa had stated he was still considering his plan to run for the presidency in 2023.
