AFCON 2021: CAF announces competition’s Best XI [Complete list]

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Best XI.

CAF revealed the 2021 AFCON Best XI in a tweet through their Twitter deal with following the conclusion of the tournament in Egypt on Sunday night.

No Nigerian gamers made the Best XI and the reserve bench, consisting of Moses Simon, who had an exceptional tournament.

Cameroon had four gamers in the team with the goalkeeper of the competition; Edouard Mendy, Saliou Ciss, Nampalys Mendy and Most Valuable Player Sadio Mane among the very best X1.

Recall that the Teranga Lions of Senegal beat Egypt 4-2 on penalties in the AFCON last at the weekend in Yaoundé’s Olembé stadium in Cameroon.

The AFCON 2021 last tie ended in a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes.

Sadio Mane scored the winning penalty for Senegal against Egypt to ensure they win their first-ever AFCON.
