The phony medics 3 individuals incorrectly parading themselves as medical practitioners have actually been collared in Rivers state.

They were collared at Andoni Local Government Council in Rivers State.

The suspects, two males posing as physicians and a female posing as a Nurse were arrested in Asarama community of Andoni based on a tip-off from Head of Medical Personnel in the Local Government.

The suspects were recognized as Gift Harvest who claim to be an auxiliary nurse, Dr. Patrick Effiong and Williams Biranwi who claim to be medical personnel.

Andoni Council Chairman, Erastus Awortu who confirmed the advancement stated the suspects were on prohibited medical mission to the city government without evidence of certifications.

He stated the suspects who are quacks had even carried out surgeries on some unwary victims before they were caught.

While condemning the act, Awortu said the suspects have been handed over to the police for more investigation with a view to revealing their true objective.
