Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood, has been arrested on suspicion of rape and attack. Earlier on Sunday, Greenwood’s girlfriend, Harriet Robson, accused him of domestic violence.

Harriet submitted numerous pictures and audio recordings on her Instagram page in the morning.

The club has now announced that the 20-year-old will not train or play, till the police conclude their investigations.

“Greater Manchester Police were made aware earlier today (Sunday 30 January) of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting events of physical violence.

“An examination was released and following enquiries we can confirm a man in his 20s has actually given that been arrested on suspicion of rape and attack. He remains in custody for questioning. Queries are ongoing,” a declaration from Greater Manchester Police statement checked out.

United in their own declaration, said: “Mason Greenwood will not return to training or play matches until further notice.”
