Osinbajo applauds resolution of African Church conflict

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo(SAN)has commended leaders and members of the African Church for in harmony settling their differences.

On Friday, the VP mentioned that the resolution of the internal dispute was true to Christian perfects.

He stated particular disagreements should never ever become a matter that would be difficult or hard to fix.

Osinbajo got a delegation of the African Church led by His Eminence, Dr Emmanuel Josaiah Udofia, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

“The devil has been put to shame in the African Church”, he stated.

The VP affirmed the government’s commitment to liberty of praise, adding that it stayed a basic responsibility of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

“One of the crucial things for us simply as our Constitution states is liberty of worship. It is our duty as a government and we plan to maintain that duty in every possible method.

“Every male of faith, even those who say they have no faith, should be enabled to practice whatever systems or beliefs that they wish”, he added.

Osinbajo encouraged members of the delegation to always speak about liberty of praise since the rights of others need to be respected.
