AFCON 2021: CAF moves three matches ahead of quarter-finals

Confederation of African Football(CAF )has verified that three 2021 Africa Cup of Nations fixtures will be moved from the Japoma Stadium in Douala to Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde.

2 quarter-finals and the February 2 semi-final matches are the games impacted.

The decision was taken since of concerns over the state of the pitch in Douala, CAF stated in a declaration on Wednesday.

CAF president, Patrice Motsepe, had actually revealed on Tuesday that the quarter-final due to be dipped into the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde will be changed to the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium after a deadly crush that eliminated eight people.
