Fire Razes Nasarawa Motor Park

There was a fire break out at the new Lafia Motor Park, Nasarawa State, which took down stores and ruined items worth countless naira.According to the News Agency of Nigeria( NAN ), the fire began on Friday night and lasted till the early hours of Saturday.It took the personnel of the fire service in the state several hours to put out the fire.Speaking on the incident, the State Coordinator of the fire service, Mrs Hanatu George, said they got a distress signal on Friday night and responded immediately.George, nevertheless, said that although no life was lost, an investigation has actually begun to determine the reason for the fire.One of the victims of the fire disaster, Ejike Igwe, a car spare parts seller, said his entire store was taken down by the inferno.Igwe, who stated he could not quantify his products lost to the fire catastrophe, appealed for support from perky Nigerians.
