Buhari battling insecurity, restoring good governance– Ekiti Oba, Olatunde

Onimesi of Imesi-Ekiti in Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti, Oba Olatunji Olatunde, has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for his battle against insecurity.

The conventional ruler also commended the efforts of Buhari at restoring good governance at the highest level.

Olatunde said the project against corruption and the steady restoration of peace across the country were laudable.

He spoke on Saturday at Imesi-Ekiti at the installation of Lt. Victor Agunbiade, of the U.S. Navy, as Jagunmolu of Imesi Kingdom.

The Oba noted that the government was doing its best to cut insecurity and has proof of favorable outcomes.

“Our typical opponent is insecurity, but the people can see that the Federal Government is making efforts at combating the menace,” NAN quoted him saying.

The queen described that Agunbiade was honoured due to his contributions toward the advancement of Imesi-Ekiti.
