Sheriff mentioned this during a media interaction on Friday in Abuja, ahead of the party’s convention slated for February 26.

He stated he was the target of the story since all other candidates are afraid of entering into the convention with him.

He believed that anyone can be chairman but not everybody has the capacity to be the chairman.

The previous Senator firmly insisted that because the leadership of the party has rejected it, the supposed zoning is phony.

“Party is run by people, the party is run by the party management. The party management as of today has actually not even constituted any committee. They were meeting for the last three or four days to even come up with a committee for whatever– for the zoning, for the election, for everything.
