Political celebrations have been advised to grant full financial waivers to ladies objecting to for political positions in 2023.

The spouse of the Minister for Transportation, Judith Amaechi, who made the appeal on Wednesday, determined financing as a major difficulty dealing with participation of ladies in Nigerian politics.

According to a statement provided by her media aide, Dike Bekwele, the former First Lady of Rivers, spoke at a two-day APC Progressives Women Conference in Abuja.

She contacted political celebrations to, as a matter of policy, review the financial involvement of women and grant complete financial waivers to motivate full women participation in elections.

Amaechi expressed issue that many ladies with intellectual and management capabilities have kept away from politics and political contests due to substantial financial duty.
