Restore your social agreement with Nigerians, protect them– Emir of Lafiya, Sidi to FG, elites
The Emir of Lafiya in Nasarawa State, Sidi Bage, has asked the federal governments and the country’s elites to restore their social contracts with Nigerians to resolve the insecurity bedevilling the country.

He said human life in today’s northern Nigeria has been degraded by kidnapping for ransom, revealing concern that the situation needs instant attention.
He said, “the time has concerned restore the traditional leaders’ role as it was throughout the pre-colonial times to optimize their contributions if we imply to rescue the scenario.
The Emir stated all States Houses of Assembly must create an unique function by providing legal support to standard management so that they could be seen doing their very best.

In his submission, a former High Court Judge, Justice Ishaq Bello, said if you are to give functions to the traditional rulers, he should not remain in conflict with political leaders.
