Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has contacted Nigerians to stand and unify against the foreign aspects that are set on destabilising the country and killing innocent residents, particularly in Zamfara State.

The Director of Press to Zamfara Governor, Jamilu Illiyasu, made this understood in a declaration he released to newsmen in Gusau on Monday.

Fani-Kayode revealed the belief that some individuals were utilizing the state and the entire North-West zone as a killing field to prove to the world that Nigeria was ungovernable, divided which things were wrong in the nation.

He also sympathized with the Zamfara State Government over the killing of 58 residents in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of the state.

Fani-Kayode described the killing as a tragedy of monumental proportion and applauded the efforts of Gov. Bello Matawalle in the continuous battle against banditry and other criminal offenses in the state.

He, therefore, contacted all Nigerians to unite to combat foreigners who claimed to be Nigerians however could only speak Arabic and French.

He likewise advised the Federal Government to fish out sponsors of banditry and other people pumping up casualty figures.
