DAILY POST gathered that the male was found dead inside a bush at Erinmope village, near Ayedun town in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kwara State Command, Babawale Afolabi, verified the occurrence to newsmen in Ilorin on Tuesday.

He stated the matter has actually been turned over to the cops for additional examinations and necessary actions.

He stated, “On Monday 17/01/2022, one Thomas Obaoye of Ayedun town, reported to our guys on ground about the demise of his sibling Olakunle Obaoye (25 ), whose lifeless body was found hanging on the tree in what looked like a suicide.”

Babawale revealed that “operatives of the NSCDC from Ayedun Division, later went to the scene of the incident and worked together with the family members of the deceased to lower his corpse from the tree.”

The dead body was later turned over to the family for correct burial, he included.
