EPL: Rangnick lied– Martial insists he didn’t refuse to bet Aston Villa

Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, has come out to reject claims made by his interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, that he declined to play in the 2-2 draw with

Aston Villa on Saturday. Martial is desperate to leave Old Trafford, with Sevilla interested in signing him this January window. The France forward was not with the remainder of the team at Villa Park and United had only 8 gamers on the bench, including two goalkeepers.

After the video game, Rangnick stated: “He (Martial) didn’t wish to remain in the squad.

“He would have remained in the squad usually, but he didn’t want to. That is the reason he was not travelling with us the other day (on Friday).”

Nevertheless, in a fresh twist, Martial wrote on his Instagram story: “I will never ever decline to play a match for Man United.

“I’ve been here for 7 years and I never ever disrespected and will never disrespect the club and the fans.”
