Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has actually reacted to the death of Chief Ernest Shonekan, the former head of the Interim National Government who succeeded General Ibrahim Babangida.

DAILY POST had actually earlier reported that Shonekan passed away on Tuesday in Lagos at the age of 85.

The deceased was the interim head of the Nigerian government between August 26 and November 17, 1993, before he was ousted in a coup led by late General Sani Abacha.
