Chelsea rule out selling Romelu Lukaku despite Thomas Tuchel comments

Romelu Lukaku dropped a bombshell when he revealed his discontent with the current situation at Chelsea. The striker said he missed being at Inter, but Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea have no plans to sell the Belgian.

Chelsea have slammed the door shut on any chance of Romelu Lukaku leaving the club. The Belgian striker showed his discontent with the current situation and said he was not happy in London in an interview with ‘Sky Sport’ in Italy. However, he stressed that he would not give up.

“I’m good physically after two years in Italy. However, I’m not happy with the situation, that’s normal. I believe the gaffer chose to play with another formation. The only thing I can do is not give up and continue to be professional. I’m not happy with the situation, but it’s my job and I’m not going to throw in the towel,” he expressed.

Despite these comments, the Blues have ruled out letting a footballer who they paid 100 million pounds for last summer go. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano explained this after Lukaku’s interview.

The Premier League side will deal with the situation behind closed doors and Thomas Tuchel will talk with Lukaku face to face in the coming days to clarify the situation. If the Champions League winners want to do big things this year, they will need the ‘9’ to be at the top of his game.
