Stefano Pioli could have taken over from Jose Mourinho at Tottenham. However, according to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, the coach turned down the offer because he wanted to stay at AC Milan.

Money is not everything. When it comes to choosing a job, there are other factors also in play. At least for Pioli.

The AC Milan coach is clear that he is happy at the ‘Rossoneri’. Therefore, he did not hesitate when Tottenham came knocking on the door.

‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, reported that Pioli had received an offer from Spurs this summer. The coach turned it down. He did not have to think too much about it.

Now, Pioli is waiting for a phone call, but not from Spurs. He is hoping that AC Milan ring him to offer him a new deal. The Italians are the only club on his mind right now.
