Atiku reacts to Femi Odekunle’s death
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has described the death of Prof. Femi Odekunle, first Nigerian Professor of criminology as a huge loss.
DAILY POST had reported that Odekunle, who is also a member of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), died at the COVID-19 Isolation Center in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Tuesday evening.
Reacting, Atiku in a tweet via his Twitter account on Wednesday, described Odekunle’s death as a huge loss.
He also prayed that God would grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
“The death of Professor Femi Odekunle is a huge loss. He was a fine gentleman with exceptional academic brilliance.
“I condole with his family and friends, especially the intellectual community, the government and people of Osun State.
“I pray that the Almighty God shall accept his soul and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss,” he wrote.
