LaLiga: Real Madrid suffers major injury blow ahead of Alaves clash
Real Madrid has confirmed that defender, Dani Carvajal, has been diagnosed with a muscle injury on his right adductor muscle ahead of their home La Liga fixture against Alaves on Saturday night.
Real Madrid disclosed this in a statement on the club’s official website on Friday.
Zinedine Zidane’s side head to the game after beating Inter Milan 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The statement reads: “After the tests carried out today on our player Dani Carvajal by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury in the right adductor muscle. Pending evolution.”
The kick-off for the match is 9 pm Nigerian time.
