The US-based starlet who just recently underwent a cosmetic surgery to cover the scar, stated the mark on her face made her lose confidence and caused nights of endless tears.

On Saturday, through an Instagram post titled, “My Scar, My Pain”, the actress detailed her experience looking for jobs and relating with people while handling the traumatising results of the scar.

She wrote, “It all started 2014. I dealt with this total complete stranger called scar since 2014, and since then, I lost all self-confidence even with the least things. I remember when I decided to settle in the USA, looking for task was traumatising due to the fact that I would relate every rejection to the scar on my face.

“Close buddies in the film market all knew when it occurred. I totally lost it. Nights I would cry endlessly, and how I tagged myself as awful due to the fact that it’s my face we speaking about. Days I would seem like ending all of it because I refused to accept my truth.”

The actress claimed that despite not being the “make up type of individual” she had to start using cosmetics to momentarily cover the scar.

Ogiri likewise noted how her mom constantly lamented about the scar which became a “long-term identity”. In response, the starlet said she tried to calm her by guaranteeing to have the scar removed.

“Honestly, I know that’s not possible however at least let me attempt one more time, hence my very first shot was in Nigeria 2014. I’m putting out my discomfort to help another person. Some of us have a scar we battling with, it might be anything but believe me, you will conquer,” she advised.

Asking fans to wish her luck, Ogiri likewise revealed that she had two weeks to see the results of the surgery.
